It Is Only For A Season

Many of us go through different tribulations in life! We have many obstacles, stumbling blocks, and hurdles to jump over. It is not always as easy as it seems to face those difficulties head on. We must remember that it does take courage to face those problems that are keeping us down. It could be something like depression, self- confidence, self- esteem, fear, lack of income, pride, or so many other things that interrupt our livelihood and throw us off course!

One day your business might be booming year from that everything is at a stand still, the economy is forever changing! The government is changing, laws are being made and changed! The system is changing but we must have a solid foundation, an anchor, something that will be rooted. Something that will weather any storm that will come our way.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen! If you have faith the size of a mustard seed then you can say to that mountain be thou removed and it shall be done. All this bickering about the presidency, healthcare, who said what, Obama, and Trump. It is only for a season and it will die down then there will be something new.

We have to have a blessed assurance that our minds will trust in God and not man. Let our confidence be in him, all of our trust! I know it seems a little shaky but we have a high priest that we can cast all our cares and burdens to. He will never leave or forsake us. The righteous won't be destitute. There is someone who will take care of us!

We deal with so much in life, we go through so much we lose love ones to dreadful diseases, wars, sickness, suicide, cancer, drug addictions, domestic violence, shootings, and that is just a few to name. What are we really doing? Are we speaking out enough? Are we praying enough? Are we really concerned about our children, their children, and the generations to come. Who will be their voice. Will we leave a legacy behind that they can truly follow?

Times are changing every second, seasons are changing, winter, spring, summer, fall, are changing. People are changing. The world is changing as we witness this every day on the news. Cultures are changing. Religion is changing, Traditions are changing. The schools are changing! I know there are many things that are changing. The wind changes its direction. The rain changes, the climate, the sky changes, and the elements changes.

The one thing I know that won't ever change is God. He is the same today, yesterday, and forever! His ways are not our ways, nor his thoughts are not like ours! He is solid a sure foundation that you can rely upon. All theses things are for a season. We have a present help in our time of trouble! God is the solution and will always be the cure!
